Monaco Yacht Show

In 2019, the world’s most famous international yachting exhibition featured an outstanding line-up of 125 superyachts measuring from 25 m to 100 m in length, of which 44 new launches. This year’s fleet was the largest and the most voluminous ever exhibited in Monaco since 1991. The total worth of superyachts on display reached 4 billion euros with an average asking price of yachts available for sale at 37.8 million euros. Out of the 18 nominees, the traditional Monaco Yacht Show (MYS) prizes were awarded to three vessels: Attila (64 m, Sanlorenzo shipyard) received the MYS/RINA Award for its eco-friendly design. TIS, a brand new 111-meter yacht built by the German shipyard Lürssen, received the MYS Interior Design Award. Excellence (80 m, Abeking & Rasmussen shipyard) won two prizes: the MYS Exterior Design Award, and the ceremony’s most prestigious award, the MYS Finest New Superyacht Award.
